Note Didn't Generate
If your note doesn’t appear after ending a session, try these steps.
Check if it’s still processing
Look at Today’s Sessions on your Dashboard. A session labeled Generating is still in progress. You'll see individual steps updating as they complete. Most notes are ready within a few minutes.
Try refreshing
A brief connection hiccup can cause the progress indicator to stall. Refresh the page. Processing may still be happening in the background.
Check your internet connection
If you lost connectivity during or right after the session, the upload may not have completed. Reconnect and refresh.
Common reasons a note fails
- No audio captured. The microphone wasn’t picking up sound.
- Session too short. Sessions under 5 minutes don’t generate notes.
- Recording interrupted. Closing the tab or navigating away during recording can lose the audio.
Contact support
If your note hasn’t appeared after 15 minutes, email hello@nessoapp.com with:
- Client name and session time
- Which step appears to have stalled
- Browser name and version
